Registration
"Misagh" affiliated to and supported by Serat Misagh Co.ltd The organization goes back to multi faculty university student movements led by initiator H.G. from 1972 committed to human and sustainable development aims latter backed up by the institutes of Selm-Serat and Misagh.
- Present affiliation to S.M. from 1994 which is registered by the Iranian law as a company.
- S.M. is recognized by authorities as  none-profit based aiming at social economic and environmental development aims in dry land and desertified regions of the country. It is recognized by the Ministry of Jihad-e-Agriculture, Forest, Rangeland and Watershed Management Organization and it has been presented as "A successful N.G.O" in the national report of June 2004 to U.N.C.C.D “Success Stories of combating desertification in the Islamic Republic of Iran”.

- It is recognized and supported by the Governor of the State of Yazd, where our organization is actively involved in desertification community based combat plans, and a letter of introduction  has been submitted in this report.

 
Financial Report
Other than full local and governmental support the Misagh movement is supported by the company and family welfare foundations for fulfilling its benevolent aims of combating desertification, poverty alleviation and sustainable development aims.


 
Governing bodies
The central governing body of Misagh is supported by committed experts and managers experienced in this field lead by Hamid Ghandehari (C.V.)
At project and local level affiliated members of policy makers, manager, educated and indigenous experts committed to aims in their region act as governing bodies. Groups of members are organized to meet the aims.
They all actively guide and support the movement. The majority of members are Iranian.
 


  Description of membership
Our institutional policy for cooperative action in targeted areas:
-The organization receives by terms of agreement with the government, institutes and local management the right to organize a joint venture team on targeted projects by affiliating members of the related governmental, research, educational departments and the local society as committed and active members of the action plan.
This method stimulates close inter-sectorial and inter-managerial involvement to be utilized in the cooperative action plans"Capacity building" at "local level" is the responsibility of this organization.

- The authorities and Techno crates at local- state and national levels including: policy makers, planners, financiers, administrators, N.G.O’S, P.B.O, local managers, local representatives, local expertises, youth, women, producers and the general society.

  The supporting company has produced a variety of methods, formats and softwares to facilitate cooperative management for desertification combat and sustainable development aims which are the companies k’now how and are made available to Misagh organization to tackle the problems.
- They can be made available for other regions and N.G.O’s under the articles 16(g) – 17c- 18 b under the terms of intellectual property rights of the convention.
