-   A healthy society is one which strives to know, to think, to understand, to choose the best and then coordinates its resources to reach that which it has versioned.

-   Life is an opportunity to define values and facts: knowledge forms the basis for this decision. Each of the sciences and arts provide a part of this understanding; therefore the developing society is invited to confront problems by the use of knowledge. The local academies provide the social- academic structure for this understanding.

-  Project forms the main basis for motivating interaction and coordination.

Comprehensive presence of fields of knowledge

Sustainability of the environment depends on the sustainability of society, culture, technology and economy. The correct response to this complex situation depends on the active presence of the sciences and arts in joint action plans.

Thus the objective of sustainable local development provides the most creative arena in a joint mission for the presence of the branches of the sciences and arts. Due to this constructive presence of the branches of knowledge in the activities of surveying, designing and fulfilling project commitments, the consultant indirectly invests through the contract on the growth of the sciences and arts at project level without any incremental cost.

Education for change

Based on the contract development goals and Consultancy Management Development (C.M.D) commitments the consultant establishes a local consulting office run by members of the local society to be trained to solve their own problems by internal and external experts.

The study and solving of local problems is a continual process in which education becomes involved and through which it can take place.

The opportunity to train the new professional members by the joint action of local indigenous intelligent and academic experts provides the trainee with a unique opportunity of transgenerational education, realized directly by this joint development commitment.

The courses are only offered on live subjects of value to the potentials of sustainable development in the affected area.

Sustainable development environment and livelihood is the result of implementing correct thought to current and on coming problems

Interaction of academic and indigenous knowledge

Workshop Education

The consultants local vocational educational system is financed by the contract budget and students are allowed to make use of it without any cash payments, instead they participate in equivalent pay - back programmed activities.

This interrelated method of research, consultancy and education aiming at development permits the formulization of a self - supported educational system, supported by the consultant's contract.

In order to maximize learning and minimize resource consumption the system emphasizes on self - managed group learning and workshop activity involved in the project at hand.

Project Oriented Education

The difficulties of vocational training and the lack of qualified professionals at local level has always been a prohibiting factor in local and regional development aims in our country.

The limitations of institutional education in our country calls for an ex - curriculum program to overcome the inherent limitations of the established educational system.

Our field and project based education has been developed to fulfill this need.  This educational system is based on "problem solving tasks" aiming at local development, thus encompassing the theoretical and the practical sides of training necessary for effective planning and realization of development goals.

The problems tackled by the local development office provides the basis of subjective activities of survey, research and project design through which participating students can find the opportunity to learn and the experts and researchers the opportunity to experience the application of theories and research proposals at field level.

Consultancy Management Development (C.M.D.)  Office Setup in Educational Institutes

Consultant sets up a development office in educational institutes.

The group provides educational institutes the opportunity of opening a joint consultancy office within the institute to provide the opportunity for staff and students to become involved in the application process of theoretical learning in the fields of local sustainable development.

They are trained to fulfill efficiency and programmed development aims.

A continual exchange of field, theoretical and research experience takes place by the interaction of external expertise and internal members to be utilized by involved members for plant and departmental improvements.

This active learn, research, test and apply also provides the best opportunity for recruiting and training people for new jobs in an environment of a mutual endeavor for improvement by the practical & theoretical members involved.

Organizing Knowledge for Regional Development at Local Level:

Knowledge forms the initiative for change. The lack of relevant information at regional and local level acts as a strong restriction for bottom- up development. The group initiates an information and data bank at its local office, and makes available books, documents, maps, diagrams and also information links to external sources; thus permitting local access to a wide range of information banks. New project documents and data produced at local level are all saved at the local office and extracts are transferred to upper levels.

Local technical library

To strengthen the process the consultant sets up a local technical library covering subjects to be undertaken by the development plan, through which committed self managed learning will take place.

This local technical library and document center is available to members of the movement and to the local society as a whole on request.

It is backed up by a list of complimentary documents available at other libraries up to national level.

Document Organization for Dev. Decisions
